Philosophy
Written rules and hard numeric constraints — position size, cash floor, volume caps, stop losses. Versioned, and every change logged with a reason.

Signal
The character works its watchlist and produces signals: ticker, direction, conviction 1 to 5, and a thesis it has to stand behind.

Ledger
Constraints are enforced in code. Survivors become simulated fills at end-of-day prices. Nothing in the ledger can be edited or deleted.
